TVSpy has confirmed that KMTV, the CBS station in Omaha, is cutting back on personnel and shows in 2019.

In a statement, vice president and general manager Larry Forsgren outlined the changes.

“We can confirm that KMTV announced some changes in its newsroom that supports its commitment to serving local viewers. While KMTV is eliminating some newsroom roles, it is adding others in order to continue to meet the community’s needs for the latest news, available across platforms,” Forsgren said.
