KETV anchor Alexandra Stone has signed off from the Omaha ABC affiliate after 8 years there.
She told viewers she’s “had a number of commitments with loved ones in recent weeks” —and added that she and her husband “made the incredibly difficult decision to relocate for personal and family reasons this summer.”
“Omaha has been so good to us. It was an absolute privilege to connect with the wonderful people across Nebraska and Iowa,” she wrote on Facebook. “Thank you to the many of you who trusted me to share your stories, who allowed me to step into your lives on your most difficult days or shared your most personal triumphs. Thank you to everyone who tuned in to the newscasts—and to all of you here, who have brightened my days through connecting on social media. I have loved being part of this community.”
Stone said she’ll keep viewers posted on what’s next.
