KWTV sports director Dean Blevins has been suspended from the Oklahoma City CBS affiliate after he sent out a racy tweet from his account and also tagged the station’s account, reports The Lost Ogle.
The Lost Ogle says Blevins tweeted out video (see below) of a woman flashing her breasts on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. “I still love that Dean tagged News 9 in his tweet,” writes the Oklahoma City blog.
Griffin Communications said it had no comment since it’s a personnel matter.
But The Lost Ogle reports he’s been suspended for two weeks and has been blocked from using his station twitter account. A quick check of tveyes shows Blevins, who has been sports director at the Griffin-owned station since 2001, hasn’t been on-air since Thursday, January 5.
