When you really think about it, is there anything with more potential for disaster than anchor chat? Case in point, this moment from Fox-owned WJBK in Detroit. Anchors Anqunette Jamison and Jay Towers were chatting last month about a lovely bouquet of flowers, and Jamison noted that she is quite fond of peonies. Towers clearly thought his co-anchor was taking things into an entirely different area, but recovered about as well as one could expect.
