NY1 anchor Pat Kiernan reminded his roving reporter Roger Clark during the cable network’s morning show, “Roger, you got 10 seconds left. One chance.”
That’s all Clark needed to make a backwards, half-court shot during a live segment with the New York Liberty this morning at Madison Square Garden. “Oh my God!” yelled anchor Jamie Stelter, “I was hoping that would help me go in to labor,” added Stelter, who is due to give birth in two weeks.
“This is live right? This isn’t some sort of fix?,” Kiernan asked.
“I cannot believe that just happened,” said Clark. “The Gardens gods.”
