In Norfolk, Va. viewers are missing their favorite weather person.
WVEC‘s Crystal Harper has left the station and TV news. She was recently selected as the best local TV weather person in Coastal Virginia magazine.
“I know everyone’s wondering what my next move will be and I promise I’m not trying to avoid the question, I just need a little while to not think about work. I’ve had such a stressful last few weeks and I need a minute to unwind,” she said in a series of Facebook posts.

The weekend morning weather anchor has been very open with viewers over the years. She has shared her battle with cancer. Recently, she received a clean bill of health.
Harper hasn’t said what she’s doing next. She has promised to keep viewers posted.
