Nexstar says William Evans has been promoted to vp and gm of Syracuse ABC affiliate WSYR.
Evans has been the director of sales for WSYR since 2007.
He is the fourth new Nexstar gm this week. The station group has also named new gms at KTSM in El Paso, WJET in Erie, Pa. and KARD in Monroe, La.
