Nexstar Names New General Manager in Nashville

WKRN has named a new vice president and general manager.

Tracey Rogers will oversee the Nexstar-owned ABC affiliate in market 29, Nashville, Tennessee. She will report to Mike Vaughn, senior vice president and regional manager of Nexstar Broadcasting.

“Tracey has a long-term record of providing exceptional service in markets throughout the Mid-South, including 11 years of service in Nashville, and we are delighted she is returning to WKRN-TV in her new leadership role at Nexstar. Throughout her career she has demonstrated a results-oriented, entrepreneurial approach to the business of broadcasting, local content production and sales management. As a native of Tennessee, she has built deep community connections and a solid reputation as a trusted business partner who is committed to the growth and economic success of local clients,” said Vaughn.

Rogers was most recently the general manager at WMC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Memphis, TN. Prior to that, she was the General Manager for KAIT-TV, the ABC-affilaite in Jonesboro, AR. She has also held news director positions at WMC-TV, WAFF-TV and WPSD-TV.
