Nexstar Names Head of Central Texas TV Stations

Chris Pruitt has been named vp and gm of Nexstar’s KWKT-KYLE the Fox and MyNetworkTV affiliate for Waco, Texas. He’ll also oversee digital services for the two stations.

Pruitt comes from KMVT-KSVT in Twin Falls, Idaho where he was vp and gm. This is his second go-round with Nexstar. Before working at KMVT-KSVT, Pruitt was gm of Nexstar’s KBTV in Beaumont, Texas. He was gsm at KMID in Midland, Texas from 2002 to 2004, then worked as gm until 2008. He’s also worked at KJTL-KJBO and KFDX in Wichita Falls, Texas.
