It was a close call for KRDO reporter Krystal Story and her photographer Pete Miller when a car ran threw crime scene tape during their live shot.
The Colorado Springs reporter was in the middle of her hit for Good Morning Colorado when the driver blew threw, hitting a police car and grazing Miller. Both quickly jumped out of the way and escaped serious harm.
The driver spoke to police following the incident, which was determined to be an accident. He said he was dodging traffic in the area.
Right now the driver is facing a number of charges, including careless driving and driving without a license.
