New WOIO Reporter Happy to Work in Hometown

Rocky River High School graduate Shannon Davidson may not like her new shift (she has to be at work by 3 a.m.), but the job definitely has a perk: After living out of state for 10 years, Davidson has returned to the Cleveland area to be closer to her family and fianc.

Davidson, who now resides with her fianc, Joey, in Brecksville, moved to Cleveland in January and began working at 19 Action News in February.

“It was always my career goal to come back home to be around my family and friends,” said Davidson, who received her bachelors degree in mass communication from Miami University of Ohio. More…
