New WTXF Reporter Excited About Station’s ‘We Go There’ Philosophy

WTXF, the Fox station in Philadelphia, has hired a new reporter from Quincy, Ill.

Marcus Espinoza will join station as a general assignment reporter. He will report for various newscasts at the station.

“Marcus is a passionate storyteller who sincerely cares about the community. We are confident that our viewers will instantly connect with him,” said vice president and news director Jim Driscoll.

Espinoza has been a weekend anchor-reporter for KHQA. Before that, he was an MMJ-reporter at WNWO in Toledo, Ohio.

“The ‘We Go There’ philosophy attracted me to Fox 29 from the start. I’m ready to work for Philadelphia and our viewers and make an impact on a city that has already welcomed me with open arms. This place feels like home and I look forward to making it mine for many years,” Espinoza.

He will start on Jan. 6.
