New Orleans Station Shows How Fast a Fight Can Go From Fists to Guns

New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL showed just how quickly violence can spiral out of control.

Reporter Eric Paulsen said he had to stop an interview while shooting a documentary about violence in the city when a fight broke out. Check out the video.

The man losing the fight reaches for a gun, while a woman, who lost four sons to gun violence, starts yelling “This where the killing starts.”

“This time no shots were fired, but it’s a perfect example of how pride, anger and not walking away can turn into violence where no one wins,” said Paulsen.
