WLWT has hired a new meteorologist from Hazard, Ky.
The station announced that Allison Rogers has joined the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati as the weekend meteorologist.
She comes from WYMT, where she was a meteorologist and reporter.

“Allison’s experience, both in the studio and covering extreme weather in the field, makes her an excellent addition to the WLWT Weather team” said WLWT news director Jeff Benscoter.
Rogers graduated from Mississippi State University. She has earned the AMS, CBM and NWA seals of approval for her forecasting.
