New Jersey Anchor ‘Grateful’ To Cover 2020 Election From Home

By Stephanie Tsoflias Siegel

Election Day means local anchors around the country are putting in their time covering results. But this year looks a little different, since many of them are covering the election from home.

New Jersey anchor Kristina Behr, though, is happy to do it. The News 12 New Jersey morning anchor shared a photo on Instagram of her home studio, complete with a “Vote 2020” graphic behind her.

“Grateful to be able to help document this next chapter of history, even while doing it from home,” she wrote.

It’s another milestone of a strange year for many local anchors, some of which have set up home studios to continue working throughout the year. Some have not been back to work since the Covid-19 pandemic hit in March, while other stations have set up socially distant protocols.

News 12 networks run a 24-hour news cycle in the New York metropolitan area, including in New Jersey, Connecticut and New York.
