Tribune has promoted KTVI/KRLR‘S station manager in St. Louis to general manager and vice president.
Kurt Krueger will oversee all aspects of the duopoly which includes strategic planning and daily operations.
“Kurt has local expertise, strong relationships in the market and a deep appreciation for the legacy, tradition and commitment of KTVI and KPLR to the St. Louis community,” said Larry Wert, president of Tribune Broadcasting. “He is the perfect fit to lead our stations.”

Krueger is a St. Louis native with over 35 years experience in the market. He joined the station in 1998 as the director of sales and was named VP of sales in 2008.
Krueger holds a B.S. in communications from the University of Illinois.
