NBC and Telemundo-Owned Stations Name New Digital Product VP

NBC and Telemundo owned television stations have announced a new vice president of digital product management and design.

Daniel Alvarez comes from Huffington Post where he was the head of product and director of product management for the last two and a half years.

“Our stations are leading the way local broadcasters deliver content to audiences by making news and information accessible 24×7 through their digital and mobile products. Daniel has extensive experience building award-winning products that will resonate with English and Spanish-speaking audiences and strengthen our team.,” said Lora Dennis, senior vice president of digital media for NBC owned stations.

Alvarez will oversee mobile apps and other digital products for the NBC owned television stations, the division that includes 38 NBC and Telemundo stations.

He earned a degree in electronics engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela.
