NBC New York Anchor Signs Off for Final Time to Move to California

WNBC midday and evening anchor Stacey Bell announced on Instagram today that she’s leaving the station after three-and-a-half years.

“Today is my last day on the air,” she said in a teary-eyed video.

Bell’s husband Anthony Lynn is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers and she said they’ve lived apart for years. Now it’s time to live together in California because “that’s what married people do!” said Bell, who anchored the 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. shows. The couple married in 2017.

The couple met in 2008 in Cleveland, where Bell was a news anchor for Fox 8 and he was a running backs coach for the Browns.
