Ric Harris has been named gm of NBC owned Philadelphia station WCAU and Telemundo station WWSI.

He’s expected to oversee the stations move to the future Comcast Innovation and Technology Center in downtown Philadelphia.

“Ric Harris is a strong leader with proven experience and a passion for delivering viewers what they are looking for,” said president of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations Valari Staab. “WCAU and WWSI have grown tremendously over the last several years, and I am confident that Ric will drive their continued success.”

Harris started his career as an account executive at WEWS in Cleveland. Before coming to WVIT, he worked at Accenture as manager of communications, media and technology. He’s also worked at BET Interactive, as gm and vp of digital media and strategic marketing for NBC Owned Stations, and as GM and GSM of WEWS.
