WMAQ, the NBC station in Chicago, has switched up its morning show lineup.
Longtime morning anchor Zoraida Sambolin is getting a new partner on the desk. Michelle Relerford, who has been working the weekend evening shift for the past three years, will move to the morning show.
She will solo the 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. shows, and will then do news updates for the remainder of the morning.
The rest of the morning team will not change. Meteorologists Andy Avalos and Alicia Roman will still do the weather reports, and traffic reporter Kye Martin will continue with traffic updates.
