Fox-owned WFLD in Chicago will move weekend anchor Natalie Bomke to weekday mornings, replacing Melody Mendez on Good Day Chicago. Bomke joins George Smith on the morning show starting January 4.
It’s a return for Bomke, who moved from mornings to weekends last year.
Mendez, who arrived in Chicago from the Fox-owned station in Denver, is headed to a new job, though she’s not saying where just yet:
