Anchors for Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV got emotional while reporting about the death of three children and three adults in the school shooting this morning.

“My heart is just hurting right now. Thoughts and prayers for these families,” Holly Thompson said through tears. Grabbing Thompson’s arm, co-anchor Amanda Hara then briefly took over the broadcast before throwing it to reporter Michael Warrick.

The after an emotional interview with the mother of a student, Thompson helped Hara, who had trouble completing her recap of the interview.
