KSFY anchor Nancy Naeve told viewers of the Sioux Falls ABC affiliate she was leaving the station to be happy.
“I finally, finally, found the love of my life,” Naeve said at the end of this morning’s newscast. She said she’s going back to her hometown without a job, but added, “I’m excited to start anew.”
Naeve made news last year when she teed off on viewers who were complaining the station’s severe weather alerts were cutting into regular programming.
She’s anchored every newscast at the station since she first started in 1992. Naeve said her last day will be Friday, May 15.[Argus Leader]
