Morning Anchor Change at KARE

By Chris Ariens

Tim McNiff is moving off KARE’s morning show for a new role with the Minneapolis NBC affiliate.

“I’m being given an opportunity to return to my roots and talk about things that interest me, and what I
hope people in the community will find interesting,” said McNiff of the digital news and sports series multi-platform series.

“Innovation is a constant in this business and the need to continuously create new content on all of our
platforms is key to what we do,” said John Remes, KARE 11 General Manager.

Replacing McNiff on the KARE morning news is Kris Laudien (pictured), who signed off from Global News Canada last week. Laudien will be anchoring at KARE March 5.
