More Viewers Watched KTRK Than Competition for Flood Coverage

KTRK says more Houston viewers turned to the ABC-owned station during its flood coverage.

The station got the most viewers between 10 and 11 a.m. drawing a 10.2 rating. Fox-owned KRIV was second, followed closely by CBS affiliate KHOU with a 5.7 and 5.6 respectively. It had a 5,000 percent advantage over KHOU (0.2) at 10 a.m.

Between 10 and 11 p.m. KTRK had a 214 percent advantage over KRIV (1.4), 120 percent over KHOU (2.0) and 83 percent over NBC affiliate KPRC (2.4) with a 4.4 rating.
To be fair, no one knows what KPRC got ratingswise between 7 and 10 a.m. since it had technical difficulties due to flooding.
