Nexstar Continues Naming New GMs

Nexstar continues to name new general managers to its properties.

Sharon Rachal will join the company as the newest vice president and general manager WCIA-WCIX and in Champaign-Springfield, Ill. She comes from another station in the market.

Rachal served as KHQA’s general manager and vice president. In that role, she was responsible for expanding local content and reach of newscasts, developing revenue streams and working with the community. Before her GM role, she served as the station’s general manager and director of sales since 2015.

Rachal begins February 10.
