Mollye Barrows has signed off from WEAR, the ABC affiliate in Pensacola-Mobile.
“This is not good-bye for good, though! You will see me pop up again…this time taking advantage of an opportunity to have the best of both worlds: a better schedule for my family and a chance to pursue advocacy journalism aimed at making our area a better place to live,” she wrote on the station’s Facebook page.
Barrows, who anchored at 4 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., began her career at WEAR as an intern in 1996. [h/t Florida News Center]
