Minneapolis Police Called to WCCO

Minneapolis police responded to a 911 call about a suspicious man inside WCCO-TV last night.

According to the Minneapolis police:

Officers responded at 11:43 pm on July 2, 2017 on a report of a person inside the building that was not an employee. The person was described as a white male, tall with dark hair, wearing a black polo shirt and jeans. When officers arrived they completed a walk-through of building with security, but were not able to find the male who had prompted staff to call 911. The security working was not able to access the video surveillance and there appeared to be nothing stolen. Officers cleared with the following comments “Officers checked building with security. No one was found inside the building who wasn’t allowed to be there.

TVSpy called the CBS-affiliate and spoke to news director Mike Caputa. He declined to comment.

Police say the investigation is closed.
