Minneapolis Meteorologist Moves To Milwaukee

KSTP meteorologist, Josh Wurster, is moving to WTMJ in Milwaukee.

“My time here has been nothing short of incredible and something truly special would need to present itself to pull me away. Well, that opportunity has come. Beginning in June, I will be joining the weather team at WTMJ in Milwaukee, said Josh Wurster on Facebook.

Wurster’s move will take him from Minneapolis, which is market 13, to market 35.

“In doing so, I get to return to my home state, and work alongside Brian who mentored me for three years, and helped launch me into this career,” said Wurster. Brian Gotter is the midday and evening meteorologist at the Scripps-owned station.

Wurster says he will be part of a “team of five meteorologists” at the NBC affiliate in Wisconsin.

At last check, his bio has been removed from the KTSP website.
