Minneapolis Anchors Reunited at California’s KSBY

John Reger, formerly of CBS affiliate KION-TV in Monterey, has been tapped to sit behind the KSBY anchor desk, reuniting him with Jeanette Trompeter, whom he worked with in Minneapolis. He’s set to start Monday.

Reger, originally from Minnesota, has worked as an anchor and reporter at network affiliates throughout the country, including stations in Idaho and Utah.

Along with his newsroom experience, Reger has also tried his hand at acting. He appeared on several television shows in the 1980s and ’90s, including “Cheers,” “Knight Rider” and “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.” More…
