For a few years now, Robyne Robinson has been the Fox 9 TV news anchor that makes jewelry on the side. Now, with Beyonce taking notice of her Rox Minneapolis line, a growing list of stores selling it everywhere from New York to Santa Fe and a deal in the works with ShopNBC, she could soon be the jewelry designer who also anchors the news.
“Who would have ever thought this would happen?” Robinson said Monday, just back from a Los Angeles trunk show that attracted “General Hospital” and “Cougar Town” actress Carolyn Hennesy, “American Idol” finalist Jessica Sierra, comedienne Judy Tenuta and country singer Laura Byrna.
