Minneapolis Anchor Follows Wife’s Lead, Leaves Station

TVSpy told you that KARE weekend anchor Camille Williams was leaving the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, Minn.

Now it’s been revealed her husband Cory Hepola, who anchored alongside her on the weekends, is heading to WCCO radio to host a show.

“I told them that if they were looking for someone divisive, then I’m not your guy,” Hepola said. “I’m going to do a positive show.”

According to Star Tribune, Hepola is just one of the latest TV personalities to head to radio. Angela Davis, who was and anchor at WCCO and KSTP, recently started her own radio show on Minnesota Public Radio.

Hepola’s last day at KARE will be on Jan. 6.
