Milwaukee CBS affiliate WDJT has announced two additions to its newsroom: a weekend anchor and a reporter.

Amanda Porterfield (pictured left), who started today, will anchor the weekend news alongside Eric Levy.

“Amanda is an experienced anchor and reporter who will be a great addition to the CBS 58 News team,” said news director Tracy Davis.

Kristen Barbaresi (right) will begin reporting for WDJT on Monday, March 14.

“I am incredibly excited to start this new adventure at CBS 58 in Milwaukee,” said Barbaresi. “It sounds like an incredible team and I am thrilled to join it.”

Porterfield was an anchor at WCIA in Campaign, Illinois. She also worked in Chattanooga, Tenn. Her grandfather, Harry Porterfield, worked at CBS 2 in Chicago until he retired late last year.

Barberesi comes from WKOW in Madison, Wis., where she was a multi-media journalist. She worked at WXOW in La Crosse, Wis., before that.
