Michigan Station Apologizes for ‘Cock’-y Daylight Saving Time Error

By Jason Lynch

WNEM, in Saginaw, Mich., has apologized for accidentally making an anatomical reference when reminding its viewers to prepare for Daylight Saving Time tonight.

The station had intended to tell viewers to “Turn your clocks back one hour tonight,” but instead someone forgot to include the “l” in the spot that ran on-air today, sending a much different message than intended:

The station apologized for the error on its Facebook page Saturday afternoon, saying, “We regret the unfortunate typo in a spot for changing clocks this weekend. We’ve taken steps to address it.”

We regret the unfortunate typo in a spot for changing clocks this weekend.
We’ve taken steps to address it.
