WILX morning anchor Lora Painter is switching stations for an evening anchor position and better sleep schedule.
Painter is leaving Lansing and settling at WWMT in Kalamazoo, Mich.
“I have so many memories,” she said in her goodbye today.

Painter’s new market is only an hour away, but a big market jump. Lansing is 113, while Kalamazzo is market 41.
