A Miami news chopper, flying over the wreckage of a small plane crash, spotted an Alligator eating the victim’s body.

WPLG ran the story Wednesday night but blurred out the image of the gator.

According to the ABC affiliate, the wreckage was discovered Wednesday night in the Everglades four days after the plane took off on an unauthorized trip.

The station’s editing manager, Peter Burke, tweeted “Our chopper is above the scene of a wrecked plane in the Everglades. A gator appears to be chewing on a body next to the wreckage.”

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
