Social media confirms a meteorologist switch at ABC3340, the Sinclair owned station in Birmingham, Alabama.
“Beginning August 7th I will be joining Good Morning Alabama! I could not be more excited to help get you ready for the day and give you the latest on the weather each morning,” meteorologist Megan Thomas said in a Facebook post.
Thomas also posted a promo that confirmed her move from weekends to weekday mornings. She will be switching spots with Charles Daniel and urged skeptics to give her a chance.
“Some have a hard time with change, so all I ask is you give me a chance. Charles isn’t going anywhere. He is still apart of our weather team and will be on weekends. Hope to see you all August 7th!”
According to the post, Daniel will go to weekends. It is unclear what his role will be during the week.
