KVAL chief meteorologist Seth Wayne is leaving the ABC-affiliate in Eugene, OR for KOMO, the ABC-affiliate in Seattle.
“I came back to Oregon three years ago, and I’ve said it would take an amazing opportunity for me to leave again,” Wayne said yesterday on KVAL’s evening newscast. “Well, today I’m announcing word of a promotion, a true dream job.”
Wayne will replace Paul Deanno, who is leaving KOMO for KPIX, on the weekday morning newscast. His last day at KVAL is August 17.
