Hallie Shulman will be joining Kansas City CBS affiliate KCTV.
“I have some EXCITING news to share! I have officially accepted the weekend morning meteorologist position in Kansas City at KCTV,” Shulman wrote on her facebook page. “Thank you for your patience, acceptance, and friendliness over the past two and half years. The people and experiences that I’ve encountered in this community, I will never forget! Wish me luck!”
Shulman comes to KCTV from Wichita ABC affiliate KAKE. She started at KAKE in September 2010.
Before working in Wichita, Shulman was the morning meteorologist at KTEN in Sherman, TX-Ada, OK. She started her career as a fill-in meteorologist at KRCG in Columbia-Jefferson City, MO, while earning her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Shulman replaces Iris Hermosillo, who in November left KCTV for KNXV in Phoenix. Her first day will be two weeks from Monday on April 8.
