Meteorologist Brian James jumped 125 markets last week, joining NBC-owned station KXAS in Dallas from KVII in Amarillo, Texas.
James, who worked the weekday evening newscasts at KVII, has been named weekend morning meteorologist and senior weather producer at KXAS.
James made his on-air debut on Thursday, and his colleagues welcomed him wholeheartedly on Twitter:
