By Kevin Eck

A crew working for WHBQ in Memphis was robbed at gunpoint last week.

Reporter Jeremy Pierre posted about it on social media by saying the thieves flashed a gun and took all the equipment. Pierre got a couple of pictures of the getaway car.

“HOW IN THE HOLY HELL YOU ROB THE NEWS CREW:” Pierre wrote. “Robbed at Poplar and Highland. You know I’ve had my fair share of stories but DAMN! Took the camera, tripod, and LIVEU. One of the dudes even showed me the gun in his waist band. Take a good look at the pics it’s the car the low downers got away in. I STILL LOVE YA MEMPHIS!”

A local radio station, which first reported the news, said the robbery took place “just down the street from the television station’s studios.”
