Media General Names Replacement for Retiring Columbus GM

Media General has named Kenneth Freedman GM of Columbus, Ohio NBC affiliate WCMH.

Freedman replaces Dan Bradley who is retiring at the end of the year, after 40 years in broadcasting. He starts January 1.

He currently works as VP and GM of KWQC in Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois.

Before working at KWQC, Freedman worked as director of sales and marketing for KGW in Portland, Oregon. Freedman has held sales management positions at at KSTU in Salt Lake City, WOFL-WRBW and WKMG in Orlando, Fla. He’s also worked for HRP and Blair TV in New York City.
