Media General has promoted John Mann from general sales manager to vp & gm of Davenport, Iowa NBC affiliate KWQC.
“John has proven himself to be a great leader with his extensive knowledge not only in sales, but across all departments,” said Media General’s vp of Broadcast Markets, Bob Peterson. “He has successfully led large teams to achieve impressive revenue and audience development growth. Furthermore, he is a terrific champion for the local community and very deserving of this promotion.”
In his 35 year career, Mann has worked in various stations as president and gm, gsm, national and local sales manager. He’s been gsm at KWQC since 2012.
