Meagan Harris Named News Director at WTLV-WJXX

harris wtlv-wjxx_cropWTLV-WJXX has named WFAA dayside executive producer Meagan Harris news director of the Jacksonville ABC and NBC affiliate.

“During my time at WFAA I’ve produced more than 1250 newscasts, 5 political debates and launched an hour long 4pm newscast. I’ve helped lead the coverage during 50+ tornado outbreaks over the past 8 years,” Harris told TVSpy. She added, “I’m excited to join First Coast News.”

Harris, who starts January 5, has worked for Belo/Gannett for the last 10 years, eight of those at at WFAA. She has also worked for KENS in San Antonio and KXII in Sherman, Texas.
