WMDT suffered a major loss this weekend with the passing of our news director Dawn Mitchell. The outpouring of support and sympathy from the community has been overwhelming.
Dawn touched so many lives in her time as news director and meant so much to us here at WMDT. People who have heard of her passing keep talking about her heart and her unfailing generosity. For those of us privileged to work with her we knew even better how deep her selflessness and sacrifice ran. She afforded so many of us an opportunity to follow a dream.
