KSHB in Kansas City, Mo. has promoted two of its anchors to prime time. They will replace Mike Marusarz and Rhiannon Ally, who are one of the country’s few married co-anchors.

Christa Dubill and Kevin Holmes come together to anchor the 5, 6, 6:30 and 10 p.m. shows Monday through Friday.

Dubill has been with the Scripps-owned station for 11 years. She currently co-anchors the 4 and 6 p.m. shows.

Holmes is currently an anchor-reporter for the station. He reports dayside and anchors the 6:30 p.m. show.

“Christa and Kevin are both excellent journalists. They are also passionate about our communities and telling its stories. I’m excited for both of them,” said Steve Watt, general manager of KSHB.

Dubill and Holmes begin their new roles on Monday.
