Mark Collins Returns to WJXT

Meteorologist Mark Collins has re-joined Jacksonville, Fla. station WJXT.

He left the station in 2011 after working there for a year to join WTSP in Tampa. Most recently, he worked at the Florida Institute of Oceanography.

“Mark is the right person to join Chief Meteorologist John Gaughan, Richard Nunn, Rebecca Barry and the News4JAX team,” said vp and GM Bob Ellis. “Our number one job is to keep our viewers safe and his 17 years forecasting knowledge of Florida’s tropical systems is invaluable. He has worked on both coasts of Florida. It’s good to have him home.”
