Marion Boone doesn’t work at Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV anymore.
The Orlando Sentinel’s Hal Boedeker says WFTV told media outlets, “Mario Boone is no longer working for WFTV, please remove him from any media distribution lists.” News director Matt Parcell also told Boedeker, “Mario is no longer with Channel 9.”
The reporter explained what happened on his Twitter page:

After the recent loss of a relative & much thought I've decided to leave Florida to be closer to family. My last day at WFTV was today.
