Man Who Slapped Savannah Reporter on Live TV Apologizes

WSAV reporter Alex Bozarijian spoke to CBS This Morning about being harassed on live television and on the same day, her harasser did an interview with the station to apologize.

Thomas Callaway sat down with the station in Savannah, Ga. and told them, “this should have never happened. I’m sorry.”

When speaking out, Bozarijian said Callaway did slap her.

“He separates himself from the runners and he kind of winds up and, you know, he hit me hard,” Bozarjian said on CBS This Morning.

The video has received millions of views. Callaway, a youth minister who was participating in the fun run over the weekend, also spoke to Inside Edition.
