While stopped at a light, on the way to cover a story this morning, KPRC reporter Sofia Ojeda and her photographer, Damon Sales, felt a bang. Seconds later, a man was banging on their window.
‘I’m stealing your vehicle. I’m stealing your vehicle,'” Sales said. “He tried to pull me out. We’re buckled in, and he’s like, ‘Get out! Get out! Get out!’”
A couple of Houston police officers saw what was happening and stopped to help. The man pushed one officer down, while pulling the other person out of the car. He took off with the officer’s vehicle.

Police later located the stolen car. They’re now searching for the suspect. Everyone is ok.
